User Acceptance Testing
It is important that
- the software has been configured correctly
- you have correct pricing information
- the software is working as you expect prior to going live.
To ensure this is the case, it is strongly recommended that you trial-run the software for a short period. Typically this would involve running PromoServe at the same time as your existing systems. By entering into the system a variety of transactions which exhibit a range of attributes and job-types, it is possible to replicate day-to-day activities and test to see how the system reacts
This will enable you to:
- Make any configuration changes required
- Identify any additional training requirements
- Identify any additional utilities or modules required
- Identify any hardware or network related issues
Completion of a properly coordinated system test will significantly decrease any potential problems that may occur when you go live.
