Going Live

Go Live Checklist


This is the day when you take your TradeOnly software solution into full production. User acceptance testing is the key to ensuring the smooth transition from your old procedures to using your new software. Providing sufficient testing has been performed there should be little or only very minor issues to iron out on this day. For larger (PromoServe Pro & Works) installations, we advise that an implementation consultant is present to help out.

We advise that you work through a Going Live Requirements checklist to ensure that you are confortable your hardware/software/data/users etc.

At the point of going live, there will be a number of tasks to perform to make your application. These may include data migration of your stock levels, customer opening balances, supplier opening balances, trial balances. A list of these tasks may be found from Going Live TaskList?.

There will inevitably be a few issues in the first few weeks of operation of a new computer system. We will work closely with you to ensure these are kept to a minimum and will aim to resolve all issues as soon as is reasonably possible.

Whilst our support desk will help with day-to-day questions and issues, this service is not to be used for issues arising from incomplete installation, configuration or training. If further time is required in these areas, this will need to be booked separately.
